Why white men love the black woman
Ever wondered why some white guys, love black women so much?
It seems that being a white male and proclaiming your attraction to black women (not only sexually, but also romantically) may lead to a lot of controversial and dangerous things. Let’s leave the debate of why more black women may be opening themselves up to white guys. The main focus of this debate is: why some white guys are opening themselves to black women. Let’s concentrate on that.
Find your soulmate on LatinoLicious

Most white males don’t feel like they are running short of white women to marry. White males just marry at high rates. So question is: Why black women? The thing is it will not be fair to bundle up black women as one since everyone is their own person… be it in appearance or personality.
However, one thing that a white male friend of mine said… and I let him get away with bundling it all up is: “We love a black woman's confidence, her tenacity and her undeniable achievements in the face of great adversity...᾿ Since this info was coming from a man, there was definitely the mention of the lips, the curves, and that wonderful skin as well.
So what about stereotypes like “black women are either sexually conservative or total sluts?" Many people give so much lip service to interracial dating sites. You would think they have never done it. But those uptight individuals are the ones that spread these stereotypes. What happened to the highly educated black woman? How about the caring, decent and involved black woman?
Probably most white guys and others are confused with the stereotypical trash people spread around and if you are one that falls for such lame ol’ lines, then you sure as hell haven’t dated a black woman.
Bottom line, you don't have to sacrifice who you are for a white guy. They will love you anyway. Just be you and open yourself up… and if you like white guys, some white guy will find you too.

Hi, Everyone out there, I have read a lot of blogs on what people are thinking when it come to dating outside your race, from bible to the streets-I would like to comment and say that Moses in the bible took a women of color, so just keep in mind that we do not know who God will allow to past your way-what we have to do as people, is to treat each other right and respect each other and if things do not go right just keep in mind that when you where dating in your own race, there were times when those relationships did not work out either. Just because a person's skin color is different=does'nt make him or her a great person.

Hi everyone. My name is Brady. I am 23 year old white male and I live in downtown Chicago, IL. There is no distinct "reason" why I am attracted to black women. I just am. I don't think that there should be a reason or explanation. People are people and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There is a difference between PREFERENCE and EXCLUSION. I am not opposed or have a problem dating white woman I just prefer to date black woman. It's that simple.

Mr. Queens, Haitians said that we got the Louisiana Purchase because of them. That statement seems to be almost directly true. Haitians made a pact with the devil? I think the devil landed on them!! Seems French control let up in the region and Napoleon III wanted it back along with slavery. Haitians twice killed the invasion forces from Napoleon III, Haitian leader of revolution seems to have been a great general and leader. He also tried to negotiate peace with Napoleon III. He got arrested in Haiti at the negotiation and taken to prison in France. Other Haitian generals took up the fighting again because of this and killed some more invaders (lots of invaders died from Yellow Fever too). Jefferson was in the foreign affairs middle of all this as US President. He feared slave rebellions could come ashore here like in Haiti and also feared French world power expanding and controlling Mississippi river via New Orleans. Punishment for slaves in Haiti's slavery hey day: lit gunpowder charge up the rectum. Haiti seems to be locked out economically because it was not controlled by Europeans. Haiti won and wound up being embargoed by Tom Jefferson and locked out ever since for the most part. All other countries in this hemisphere were dominated by Europeans and their decendants. This has always led to economic partnership between those countries dominated by Europeans. So Haiti is poor like a lot of ghetto nations in Africa and ghetto neighborhoods in the USA. When you are locked out economically that happens. You the man!!

I stumbled upon this site and found it quite interesting. I agree with MustageDave in that it very quickly got off topic and never quite returned. I was curious to hear people's views on interracial dating and marriage but instead got a lesson in religion. I will admit some of those comments were quite interesting though. Ichibod, I like your style. I love a man that can express himself in a way that hits home. Ok, here's my 2 cents. Men and women of all races are generally attracted to 'attractive' men and women of all races. Social pressure, and sometimes social or familial obligations play a role in what attractions we choose to act on. People shouldn't have to justify who they are attracted to. Attraction is not a choice. People who date interracially are often held to a much higher standard. They are asked to investigate every possible motive of the other person, to delve deep within their own minds and ensure their reasoning is sound. This is never asked of people dating within the same race and I don't really think the whole matter has to be that difficult now. As a black woman (when I was single) if I was drawn to someone I would seek to get to know them. We would find out if we had anything in common and take it from there. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't but that's how all dating goes, right; more don't work than do? Commonality can also be overrated. Some relationships are complimentary. Don't get me wrong, the key areas (how you feel about life, love, children, finances) have to be similar, but what type of music you like and the fact that he likes the mountains and you like the beach are neither here nor there for open minded people with diverse interests and generally leads to growth. Luckily, I grew up in a family where race was a non-issue. If the guy I dated treated me well, he was welcomed. If he treated me like crap--well, that's also a non issue because I would never be with a guy of any race that treated me like crap. I'm rambling because I guess I wasn't aware that this was still a really big issue for lots of people. Here's my point: there are plenty of black women that find white guys attractive and there are plenty that don't. That's ok. There are plenty of white guys that love black women and plenty that don't. That's ok too. If a man finds you attractive (black or white) he is going to want to have sex with you. I accept this. I am not offended by it and it doesn't have to be hidden. It is nice to hear black men and white men appreciate and admire black women in words. Black women are a marvelous creation and brown skin is intoxicating. I love everything about myself, even my imperfections. I've never questioned why someone else might be drawn to those things. I'd bet good money that anyone, 'anyone' that truly got to know a beautiful black woman would fall very hard and love every minute of it.

I got a day off today and Monday from the school. I am a role model for the children. I won't have to attacking my character. Yea, I work 2 jobs, and maybe 3, if I could fit it in. I rather "school" sellout black women on my blog on how to get a good man in my spare time. Obviously, my advice has fallen on "deaf airs" in some cases. They refuse to "tattoo" that on their forehead. Oh yea, I am already in drama talking about Haiti. I got all this drama brewing on facebook and all over the place. I say "bring them on". Y'all wasn't donating to Haiti before the Earthquake and now all of you are self righteous. Other Caribbean Islands got hit by hurricanes they had to rebuild themselves 'with hardly any help". They knew Haiti was a disaster waiting to happen. They won't let the Haitians into Miami but will let the Cubans in. They are rescuing the "Americans" code word for "White Americans" who were "unfortunate" enough to be there when the Earthquake hit. Why don't they fly out the Haitians? Then somebody told me Haiti means "Hell". You knock Pat Robertson for saying what he said. But everybody says they are a Christian here. He is telling you the background of Haiti but you call him "names' for quoting scripture. He said Haiti is cursed. It must be a long curse because that place has no improved for a century! How are you in poverty for close to 100 years? 2010 IS MY YEAR MAN. LOOK FOR THAT 'THANK ME LATER ALBUM". I say what you WISH YOU COULD SAY! http://www.mrlaureltonqueens.blogspot.com/

Where did you get the impression that I was having sex out of wedlock OR wouldn't date an atheist......It must really inject some serious excitement in your lives to make shyt up the way you all do in here...I swear....LMAO. AND ROBZZ.....nevermind, Daffy, I mean, Queens... he has this sick obsession with me.....but I think he is working it out....It took him sometime to lash out at me this time. Or maybe he was too busy having sex with his "fiancee/girlfriend" or at one of his THREE jobs....(snicker). And he mentioned he was a gentleman because it's "OPPOSITE DAY" on Sesame Street (where he must live...lol). And all you lover's of labels, have fun with all that because as soon as you get used to one the definition will change anyway....the world is in a constant state of change. It'll be sad when folks are blowing their brains out because they can't adapt....well maybe not too sad; they'll be out of their obvious misery. Hey ya, Scoff nice to see that you are still doling out the "nickels".......keep'em coming...lol.....I might eventually get enough to buy myself a ticket to UTOPIA!!!!.....LMAO. Dear Edub You said "Sorry can’t let this one slide. Science is not about what you believe it’s about what you can prove. Scientific method: 1) observation 2) hypothsis 3) prediction 4) experiment" Right so an atheist would say "prove there is a god". You also said this "Science someday may prove the existence of G-d but it can never disapprove G-d. What is happening in many of these posts is the classic Black Swann Fallacy. I’ve never seen a Black Swann so a Black Swann can not exisit. I haven’t experiecned G-d so there is no G-d." White people have seen UFOS in their small ass white town. Black people (from my understanding) never seen a UFO " in the hood". So let's see, do I believe their are UFOS. Maybe, if God can create an "Earth" like this. Than, perhaps their are other "life forms". But then again, the bible makes no record of "UFOs" or other life forms from my understanding. Please don't bring up Genesis. Because there are no deep scriptures about other life forms. Anyway, I had the Mormons over last night. I grilled them some more. Mainly, about polygamy and having more than one wife. I said " I would like to have 2 black wives". Would that be acceptable? They sort of danced around it and said "Well we have 1 wife". I raised up out of my lazy boy chair and escorted them out the door. I am going to their church Sunday. We have disagreements on religion but I like their dedication.

Dear Mr. Robzz, Sorry can't let this one slide. Science is not about what you believe it's about what you can prove. Scientific method: 1) observation 2) hypothsis 3) prediction 4) experiment If your science doens't have these four elements it's not science -- it's religion/faith pretending to be religion. Science someday may prove the existence of G-d but it can never disapprove G-d. What is happening in many of these posts is the classic Black Swann Fallacy. I've never seen a Black Swann so a Black Swann can not exisit. I haven't experiecned G-d so there is no G-d. Sorry but Athieism is just another religion.

If you are an intelligent being, you can not POSSIBLY be dumb enough to ignore scientific evidence, c'mon. Even I am not that much of a Jesus Freak. Fossils and dinosuar bones are solid proof and the wonderful invention/discovery of carbon dating. Discovery of new planets and the changing of the old ones(Pluto no longer considered a planet, LOL). Do you know how long it took me to learn our solar system in elem. school????LOL I'm completely fascinated by the fact that are totally other galaxies. It would be self-centered to think that God only created us. I believe he has other life on other planets in who knows how many of these galaxies. That excites me! Okay since I'm already probably thought of as a little "crazy", I'm gonna go a little further, ok here it comes....I believe in other dimensions too. There, I said it. I believe that time travel is possible we just can't access more than the 10% of our brains to simulate it.Or because we haven't necesarily been able to create the physical materials needed to house or harness that sort of energy. Ok, I'm a nerd and a trekkie/trekker. Those are some the "other" requirements I look for in a man besides being a bible-thumper, LOL. Peace, Live Long and Prosper, LOL

Okay most non-believers just think this all happened by chance. If thats true why can't life be created, hmm pursueing this line of thought, if I pour enouugh paint on a canvas, will I end up with a master painting compared to some of the great works of art. I think not, their is some grand hand doing some work behind the scenes. Now having said that even the non-believers have to take a step back, and think why did I go this direction, or turn the other way. Why did I ever start posting on this blog, what major force compelled me to bare my soul, to strangers. Another nickels worth an old man's thoughts. Robzz says:Posted: 14 Jan 10I agree with you that there is not yet solid proof about the gay gene. But it's very probable, and very feasible. I think one day it will be proven. Like I said, genetics is in its infancy. But suppose that there is, then that logic makes sense. And you're right, you don't have to accept, but tolerate fine. I just chose the word accept rather than tolerate. And is it just a fad that people are gay? Or is it just more acceptable? I'd say it's DEFINITELY more acceptable than it was than say the 1950s, and I'd say that there were just as many gays then as now, if not more, they just weren't open. Of course they weren't open about it! Cuz they were married to women. I agree with you about bisexuals

Dear Mr Rob Forgive me for mentioning "what's her face". Sometimes, I have to spank her "to keep her in line". I am a gentleman. Anyway, back to my thoughts. As for the gay situation. I don't think they are all "born gay". It is like a fad now. You will have various black women who consider themselves "not gay" but have slept with women. But they will straight up tell you they are not gay. In society there is no such thing as bisexual men. They are either gay or not. That is the reality. Even though, during the Roman Empire it wasn't unusual for those men of power to be pedophiles or homosexuals. I do believe there is a difference between pedophilia and homosexuality. I don't want to lump all gay people together. Gay people do get upset when you put in the pedophilia category. But most pedophiles will tell you if they couldn't molest a young male child. They would often have gay encounters with really young men or barely legal age men like Barney Frank and Foley (Politicians) allegedly did. So you manipulate these youths and then label them "gay". When really they was sexually abused at children. Most young boys molestation goes unreported. Black male boys molested VIRTUALLY NON EXISTENT. Nobody gives a damn. Then you wonder why they got "girl jeans on" and "perming" their hair. The mother thinks that is "cute". You got your damn son wearing pink sneakers. Sorry I got off track. I plan to address that on my blog soon. I think something "was done" to these people in their youth that "turns" them gay. That is my theory. Society sorts of encourages it with these Lifetime movies and Hollywood movies like "Boys on the side". They make it seem like men just actively search to attack gay people. Give me a break. I don't have to accept the homo "lifestyle" that is where you are wrong. I can tolerate it. I don't have to associate with gay people. I can be hypocritical too because I got black female friends who lick the "box". Practice that off and on gay "lifestyle" when they cannot find a suitable black male to be with. Then again, we are all hypocrites. What can I say.

Robzz says:Posted: 14 Jan 10Mr Laurelton. Why hatin on Tatt so much? Anyway. Good point and good point and good point. So you are against gay marriage just because of your religion, even though you understand you shouldnt be? Okay. What I'm about to say might blow everybody's minds. There is a growing amount of evidence that gays are indeed born gay, as they claim, and it's due to their genes. There very well may be a gay gene. No think about this...When Gays are oppressed, when society hates on gays, and doesn't accept them and doesn't let them get married...they are less likely to come out...more likely to enter Heterosexual marriages due to the pressures in society. Now when this happens, they have offspring which perpetuates this gay gene...making more gay people demanding more gay rights. Solution to make everyone happy. ACCEPT GAYS. ACCEPT THEM WITH ALL YOUR HEART. One, it's the right thing to do...why not...who really cares if they get married? Two...Even if you HATE them to death...It's good for you too...because your grandchildren and great grandchildren will have less gay people to deal with cuz they will peter out because the gay gene won't prosper. See what science and logical thinking can do? It's a Win Win. Religion is just Lose-Lose.

Dear Rob I went to the Museum of Natural History Monday. I saw the origin of Asian People, African people and South American people which includes Mexico. It was quite interesting since I haven't been to this place since I was a kid. The common theme I saw in all ethnic people was the belief in a higher power. Even if some ethnic groups worshiped statutes or symbols, they believed a higher power bestowed this object some type of "power" to help them out of their circumstances. Whether it is lack of "food", water and etc. The reason I bring this up is because you can't dismiss Science and Anthropology. I know you like to sing your "old negro spirituals". But you got to face the facts at some point. It doesn't make me a non believer. It makes me "look for answers". People on this board act like Christianity is the only dominant religion. You got Buddhism, Islam, and Hindu. I never see the criticism towards people who have 'another religion" the way a atheist gets. I never hear the arguments concerning the Islamic religion. In my opinion, arguably takes punishment to the extreme. If you went to an Islamic Country and said you didn't believe in the Prophet Muhammad they could kill you. Religion is intertwined with society. In the United States it sort of the same thing but not as extreme. For example, this gay marriage thing. I am against it due to my religion. But constitutionally they should be allowed to get married, gay people that is. What right do you have to force your religion on others? As for the black women on this board, you are having sex out of wedlock but don't want an atheist white man. Your assbackwards. It is that bitchassness flu that Tatt has that is spreading to many black women. I hope there is a vaccination soon. ANYWAY Stand in the mirror backwards like Tatt because you can't face yourselves in the morning quite often. Good day. Man look for the New Blog Album "THANK ME LATER".

Robzz says:Posted: 14 Jan 10Just to dumb it down, I read lots of about science and astronomy. You know when you wash your hands and you see that huge pile of soap bubbles? Imagine inconceivably big pile of those bubbles, and imagine one of those tiny bubbles is our universe, there are tons of universes outside of ours. That is truly what I believe, and scientists are finding more and more evidence that this is true... For example, The gravity of those other universes is actually what is pulling on ours and causing it to expand as fast as it is, and at an accelerated rate. Imagine how many useless, non supporting universes there must be outside of ours? How tragic! Ours is just right...think about all the other ones that are just right.... now think of one where God might actually exist. I doubt he's anywhere near as powerful and benevolent as the one the Bible talks about. But what if there is a being like that in another universe?! Now I find THAT exciting. But I'm still an atheist. Bummer.

Robzz says:Posted: 14 Jan 10Okay I just wanted to clear up what it is that causes the wavering in my posts. I was just paying respect mostly to Mr Laurelton Queens whose views I greatly respect. Very much so. I am an Atheist by all the means of the definition. I believe Agnosticism is a fancy term for SITTING ON A FENCE I am not Agnostic. What causes me to say "I know there might be a God" and all that is the the term "God" itself. It is not clearly defined, has been defined and redefined by many religions and philosophers. So When I say there could be a God, I mean that there may be something that may resemble God far OUTSIDE...yes outside of our universe...But has NO contact with ours, and may not even realize that ours exists. That's what I meant I belive God exists, but there is one stipulation...and its a big one! HOws that for thinkin' outta da box!?

As far the lines of his thinking...prayer was ALSO went along the lines of his thinking so it was a viable suggestion as well. I tried to stick what Robzz original reason for coming on here and provided an christian "OPINION"on WHY he got the reation he did (from a chistian I might add). Believe me, it's NEVER personal only LOGICAL(LOL).I really don't know how THAT could be interpreted as "having THE answer to FOR EVERYONE(in the form of religion or even spirituality). Funny, how people who feel that they have been misinterpreted, in turn misinterpret others....the mind is a complex thing with many faucets as medical SCIENCE suggest. Yes, he changed up and I think I was the FIRST one to say that he came to his own conclusion about how he should approach religion when it comes to dating by accepting the REALITY that there will be people, who are fully dedicated to what they believe(Christianity as in what his girlfriend was) and how important it is to them and they won't be CHANGING anytime soom.... this is FACT not OPINION...so please save the drama. I have never spoken out against anyones's religion but I will "invoke a certain deity's name in here, Jesus Christ and when you get tired,.... scroll... and start a post on topic and I will gladly expound on that too. Invoking fear????...ummm,ok. Yes, people can get "STUCK" into thinking that they are free-thinking and objective so it goes both ways, all across the spectrum.I understand the need for such thinking though. Yeah, I believe in community because there is a certain need to stay connected to "reality" while having hope and faith but accepting that there IS NO UTOPIA and the truth of people's pain.Yes, I like that. Me thinks that, although he might be uncomfortable with the label as SOME call it, it didn't STOP him from labeling himself as such and or identifying with it. It is good to clear "shyt" up.LOL THE END PEACE

This subject REALLY does something to people.....interesting.

tatted2death says:Posted: 14 Jan 10"This all started because my issue was because of the negative press that the word “atheist” brings and what is meant by “non-believer” as Tatt pointed out."......this was in a post FROM ROBZZ.... ME thinks he DOES have issue with WHAT THE LABELS SUGGEST TO MOST PEOPLE. NOW....I am done (pointing out the obvious).

tatted2death says:Posted: 14 Jan 10THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE LAST POST ON THIS MESS THAT I HAVE FOR YOU ALL.....(the length of which I will NOT apologize for....READ OR SCROLL....YOUR CHOICE!!) Obviously this is a "hot button" subject.....so my perceived desire to make anyone "blow-up" (something else that was misinterpreted but oh well....lol....the "logical" will continue on with that sort of thing, I believe) is a moot point. My whole point in bringing up the N-word was to show you that words can have power to inflame....if you let them......PERIOD. Whilst "bible-thumper" might not hold sway for you, WE ALL KNOW THE CONNOTATION of the term.....as well as "jesus freak". I like your take on this, Ich, but even you had to admit at being a little "verklempt" in the end....LOL. I have not spoken out against any particular religion here so I don't quite understand all the "personal" shyt going on.....but again....oh well. The fact that CERTAIN words KEEP being used to refer to me is just plain amusing....(Ich.....remember "bashing"....LOL). I never said that RELIGION was to blame (not into shirking personal accountability in that way) - I simply stated how SOME people use it.....these are FACTS, NOT OPINIONS.....PERIOD. And oh....as for me suggesting a book....as opposed to a method....umm....quite simply this (and most) BOOK allows for individual interpretation (AS WE ALL HAVE SEEN WITH THE BIBLE NO DOUBT) and the fact is the book is already in line with some of his thinking. Robzz seems to still be figuring some things out FOR HIMSELF so for you to condemn the fact that he is "changing up" shows the REAL deal behind all your "concern" for his "plight"...LOL. SOME people are just so "STUCK" and it's not even funny but again I know the purpose of such thinking. Personally, I can appreciate a "confused" person over someone that thinks they have THE answer FOR EVERYONE (in the form of religion or even spirituality....at times it's best to let someone seek their own path). I am just getting a little tired of the invoking of certain "deities" names in here, like that is suppose to drive fear or whatever into anyone. People do it all the time and it is not a big deal....but this latest topic seems different. But what has NOT changed is my unwaivering RESPECT for anyone's faith or beief system...and I am NOT in here putting words into people mouths.....PERIOD. The words are not an issue for me.....it is the way someone appears to be trying to use them. But guess what???.....at the end of the day WE will STILL be a FAMILY/COMMUNITY here (and if that is "Utopic" thinking....so be it....LOL)....THE END. ---------------------------------------------------- HEY ICH.....why not start us off with YOUR opinions on a different subject. Usually when I try that shyt someone gets a bug up their arse about me "trying to run" or some other nonsense...LOL HEYA, BEAUTY....I have been good and "blessed", as always....glad to see you are still being you (questioning what someone is calling you.....lol...clear that shyt up now....LOL) Peace and Blessings to ALL tatted2death

bigeyes31 says:Posted: 14 Jan 10Ichibod...what can say? You always get it right. You call people what they call themselves until they object to it. Robzz didn't object. Why would he if that's what he identifies with? Once again people gravitate toward the "few" Christians who talk down about science. This could be contributed to ignorance of science and not christianity. But what about all the rest of us who embraces science, respect it and have a love for it? No focus is placed on us. I agree. The thread needs to return to the topic. Peace

bigeyes31 says:Posted: 14 Jan 10Hold on beauty I went back and read that again! NOW I know what you meant,LOL OMG that is NOT what I meant. YOU ARE BEAUTIFULBEYONDWORDS. Some people confuse "religion" as being Christian and point out hypocrisies but I was saying YOU are not being "religious" but going against the grain by DOING what Jesus instructed us to do. Look, you know I think you are strong and beautiful and I love that about you. Peace

bigeyes31 says:Posted: 14 Jan 10"Just for the Record". Robzz seems to change up what he believes from post to post. Something that I notice SOME people like to say Christians do but when it comes to agnostics and evolutionists, aethist, they fail to point that out. Sorry, Robzz but that's what I felt at first. Robzz original problem wasn't ABOUT what position he holds on God, belief, etc., but on WHY Christians don't accept him as an aethiest. THAT was the "getting" to "root of things".Note: I WILL STILL REFER TO HIM AS WHAT HE CALLS HIMSELF. I think people just WANT to "read between the lines" in order to justify having so much say about a subject, even if it's the WRONG subject. Just gotta love utopic thinking, LOL. Robs…. I like your perspective….and there is a book you might want to check out, if you hadn’t already. It’s called The G.O.D. Experiments by Gary E Schwartz, Ph.D. It’s a really great, eye-opening read….not what I expected at all (from the cover). And the author offers a list of other “good books” (lol) for the reader to investigate…some support his theories and others do not; that impressed me. Peace and Blessings tatted2death Some suggest a BOOK. I suggested a METHOD. How was the action different????Utopic thinking really causes a disconnet....LOL. I think I paid Robbzz more respect by calling him what he called himself. Speaking of telling people "how" to do anything, in their "infinite knowledge", you made an attempt to tell HIM what he is and his position(as if you could describe him better): "Robzz may call himself an atheist and even say certain things that an atheist MIGHT say but my (educated/logical….lol) take on this is he might actually lean more toward being an AGNOSTIC (have fun looking that one up….lol). I mean, judging from more of what he actually says when he tries to explain himself (futile in here at the moment) he actually sounds more open to different possibilities than the atheist label would have everyone BELIEVING." See people this is where I detected B.S. and called it out. Some people are not as objective as you think. Certain people on here have insinuated that because a person believes in God and faith that they are misinformed about science. I love science and knowledge...God made me that way. @Rozz Since you are as accepting and open-minded as you say you are, you SHOULD know that there other agencies that are trustworthy and that money is not the object here but help. I didn't think I had to spell that out due your being scientific and "open" to many things. Sorry people for the length but lengthiness deserves length, LOL. Peace, but you just don't have what it takes to make anyone "blow up"

Ichibod says:Posted: 14 Jan 10Actually Tats, I like "Jesus Freak" the best. My point was no one would (or should) blow up over being called a "bible thumper". People blow up over being called the "N" word all the time. So what's YOUR point, sister? More Christians think outside of the box than you believe. You just don't see them on TV, hear them in that many pulpits, or see any world renowned atheists debating them. Just like the previews for Bill Mahr's "Religulous" movie. Debating a guy in a white toga trying to look like Jesus? Yea, okay. The study (that has been going on for centuries and started with Jesus himself) that you and Robzz are referring to is called Christian Apologetics. My problem with some Christians is how they talk down on science. The word science means knowledge. They can't see that yet they understand that God is OmniSCIENT, "all knowing". I remember learning about compound words in first grade. You can't blame the faith or religion because of the idiots that parade around with the titles and disobey or blaspheme their deities. If every court on earth says that murder is illegal, and people still do it, then does that mean the law doesn't exist? I'll add this and then I'm done, since I said "let's change subject" 2 or 3 times already. How come every question or topic an atheist chooses to debate regarding Christianity always deal with stuff Jesus never talked about? It's always the creation, or the flood, Chris Hitchens and his obsession with foreskins Jewish penises, or how religions is responsible for wars. A lot of stuff Christians don't really care about because it doesn't affect our everyday lives. Big-bang or 6 day theory? I'm here, what's next? The flood? The ark is on Mount Ararat. Soon as the conflict in Afghanistan ends, archaeologist can resume study on it, but what's the point? The people that died in the flood and the person who built the ark are dead now and have nothing to do with me or you. Circumcision? Even though that stuff looks nasty (and I'm glad I was "trimmed", you handsome thing you. Yes, I talk to it, so what?) a man can keep it. And the wars thing? People fight over drugs, land, money, politics, and other people more often that religion. Jesus said to love one another. Simple as that. Okay, let's please move on. I'm a little verklempt. Talk amongst yourselves. Haiti? Mark Maguire? Black women who date white men because they hate black men? Anything! Let's just get this blog back to normal.
