Ever wondered why some white guys, love black women so much?

It seems that being a white male and proclaiming your attraction to black women (not only sexually, but also romantically) may lead to a lot of controversial and dangerous things. Let’s leave the debate of why more black women may be opening themselves up to white guys. The main focus of this debate is: why some white guys are opening themselves to black women. Let’s concentrate on that.

Most white males don’t feel like they are running short of white women to marry. White males just marry at high rates. So question is: Why black women? The thing is it will not be fair to bundle up black women as one since everyone is their own person… be it in appearance or personality.

However, one thing that a white male friend of mine said… and I let him get away with bundling it all up is: “We love a black woman's confidence, her tenacity and her undeniable achievements in the face of great adversity...᾿ Since this info was coming from a man, there was definitely the mention of the lips, the curves, and that wonderful skin as well.

So what about stereotypes like “black women are either sexually conservative or total sluts?" Many people give so much lip service to interracial dating sites. You would think they have never done it. But those uptight individuals are the ones that spread these stereotypes. What happened to the highly educated black woman? How about the caring, decent and involved black woman?

Probably most white guys and others are confused with the stereotypical trash people spread around and if you are one that falls for such lame ol’ lines, then you sure as hell haven’t dated a black woman.

Bottom line, you don't have to sacrifice who you are for a white guy. They will love you anyway. Just be you and open yourself up… and if you like white guys, some white guy will find you too.

Why is the BM/WF I/R marriages the the Marriage couples with disportionate Divorce rates, Much higher than all others? There have been no facts stated to validate any negative claims made about white men on this forum. Just peoples expierences. The facts are clear, It is because Black women have started opening up their options that the numbers have started to rise so fast. Not because white men have. Many white men have always been willing. Now we are saying to find a good man is hard? That is really funny, or do we mean a good man, oh by the way he has to be making this much money, and lets take queens point of view, most men will date a woman with kids, but many woman want a man with no kids.     @ Bamba making sense. You know holding on to hurt wears us down too. But it's hard to let go of it. My divorce was devastating. Took some time, but wounds DO heal. My lack of desire to date White men at this time doesn't stem from hurt from them in general, but my still unyielding loyalty to a Black/Brown man. That's it. No other explanation for it. I never considered doing a blog until I came here. I will start one very soon and discuss matters pertaining to how Black women can become more cohesive as we have, and will always be the backbone of our families (whether interacial or not).     I feel what you saying Petite. I guess my two biggest things is one: Got to stop blaming groups for our own problems whether it be black men, white men, black women, white women etc. People are people and we should judge the person,not the group. It saddens me to see some sistas blame ALL black men for their troubles insteading of blaming that person for what ails them Same thing with some black men too who want to lump all of us in the same boat if a couple of us say this stuff about them. Not all of us feel that way. What happened to respecting one another? We got to stop the blame game. White men have hurt me too, but I don't hold that against all of them.     Bamba! Yes, but the media (idiot box) newspapers and such have kept the stereotypes going that so many still buy into. This is also what troubles me. As long as we are a divided nation, amongst socioeconomic privilege and race, we're gonna have these problems. Perhaps as I see things progress on a serious level and not a superficial one I might not feel the way I do about at this time. Mind you, I was open enough to date white men after divorce. Just two and when I arrived here I had already decided not to consider them. But then I got attention from the despite the fact that they are not and were not listed as an option (you know men don't read). I said, ok, ok....It was a mistake for me based on the time I've been here and based on my past experience with them. Right now, I'll hold tight with my direction. And maybe one day I'll let loose. Who knows. The bottom line is we have a right to choose who we want. If it's a Black or Latino man for me, that's my decision. If it's a White man for you and others that's your decision.     Hi Petite....yeah I always love a nice chat with someone cool...I came in contact growing up because my father lived in NYC. Manhattan. E. 97th St. So all my summers and other vacations growing up were spent in NYC. And I moved away from Vermont when I was 15. Down here In PA. So last 2 years of High School were spent in PA. And I think the more white guys see other white guys with black girlfriends, the more assertive they will be. Its already happening more and more.... PEACE

    kingpin, thanks for your comments. Honest thoughtful opinion about what you think the problem is. May ask you a question then, while living in Vermont how did you come into contact with African American women? I have a former co-worker who was from Bennington and there were absolutely no women of color there. Mind you this was the circumstance, say at least 25 years ago. Do you believe that White men should be a little more assertive? Or do you believe that what prohibits them in a lot of instance is their societal backlash (based on upbringing and overall bias in this country?) Thanx for staying to talk, and please know I have no problem with the fact that you have a Black woman for a wife. That means she's married and hopefully happy!

    @kingpin I've said the same stuff in the past and I got jumped on too for pointing out what you just said. I've always thought and believe black women can have a white man if they wanted to but most sistas prefer to be with brothas but a growing number of us are more open to interracial relationships then ever before.

To be honest, in the beginning, I thought it would be a waste of time. But since I've never seen a similar service in any other dating site, I decided to give it a try.
