Ever wondered why some white guys, love black women so much?

It seems that being a white male and proclaiming your attraction to black women (not only sexually, but also romantically) may lead to a lot of controversial and dangerous things. Let’s leave the debate of why more black women may be opening themselves up to white guys. The main focus of this debate is: why some white guys are opening themselves to black women. Let’s concentrate on that.

Most white males don’t feel like they are running short of white women to marry. White males just marry at high rates. So question is: Why black women? The thing is it will not be fair to bundle up black women as one since everyone is their own person… be it in appearance or personality.

However, one thing that a white male friend of mine said… and I let him get away with bundling it all up is: “We love a black woman's confidence, her tenacity and her undeniable achievements in the face of great adversity...᾿ Since this info was coming from a man, there was definitely the mention of the lips, the curves, and that wonderful skin as well.

So what about stereotypes like “black women are either sexually conservative or total sluts?" Many people give so much lip service to interracial dating sites. You would think they have never done it. But those uptight individuals are the ones that spread these stereotypes. What happened to the highly educated black woman? How about the caring, decent and involved black woman?

Probably most white guys and others are confused with the stereotypical trash people spread around and if you are one that falls for such lame ol’ lines, then you sure as hell haven’t dated a black woman.

Bottom line, you don't have to sacrifice who you are for a white guy. They will love you anyway. Just be you and open yourself up… and if you like white guys, some white guy will find you too.

No one on this site has ever said anything about whitemen being the black womens white knight exccept a few racist black men and a pathetic black woman. The best black female friends I had was the ones that we have "spanked or "currently spanking". We may be "associates". You got the friendship thing "ass-backwards". You got your "hand out" but you a man's friend. Personally, I don't know if men and women can be 'truly"friends unless she is unattractive, obese, or gay. I think women hang onto to friendships with men "cause they like them a little bit". They 'want" to be "cool". Most of them say "they can't stand other women".     @Petite lol you and your paper. Maybe you'll get a chance to rest this weekend. I had to drop a good friend of mine last year over a dude. I asked her not to be negative but she wouldn't do it and it wasn't about that dirt bag,(the dude and I had issues but I was trying to give him a second chance) it was about her supporting me as her friend. Lord knows she had screwed up in the men department herself, but I tried to support her but when she wouldn't shut up about him and just say ok, I'll be there for you we just had a HUGE blow up. Chivarly is dead, been dead for awhile but I know what you mean chile. I like to be courted but I'm a modern woman I have no problem asking men out but I like men asking me out too. But I agree be around folks who are positive in your life because if they are negative, you'll be that way too.

She has good friends and her family which is most important these days. I hope she had a good prenup so he can't get no cha-ching..... What we have to do in the end, is not repeat, repeat, repeat like so many women do. I have traditional views of dating. I'm not with this new style. Partly because of the way I was taught and partly because of who I am. I am 50 doggone it! LOL. I had parents both who have southern roots and know what it means to stick their neck out for someone. While I wasn't born in the South, I have a lot of that hospitality in me. Traditional.....as in the earlier times. When a man courted a woman and made his interest known to her. Maybe he was a lil shy in his dealings, but finally got up the nerve to ask her out. Dammit, I need to be in that era. Chivalry, YES. Romance, YES! But alas, this is 2010, right (wake up Petite). Set some standards. Stick to em! Don't back down on your principles and hope for the best. Don't align yourself with people who mean you no good. Analyze everything and if you come to the realization this person or persons don't have your best interest at heart....RUN FOR THE DOOR!!!! I won't keep negative people around me. I won't have people to bring me down with their negativity. I'll drop you like a hot frying pan full of grease. I'm a truth seeker and wherever there is unfairness involved, I'm there! Libras must balance and seek out fairness in everything we do! Hahahahahahaha omg, I am cursed. LOL. I have had to drop a couple of friends over the years for this very reason. "FRIENDSHIP." People nowadays don't know the meaning of it. The true essence of it. They use the term too loosely. Set the bar HIGH...don't settle for less because when you do, it shows. Some kind of way it reeks through the pores in your skin and others know. Back later. I am definitely, most definitely submitting my paper TODAY. It's hanging over me like a 150lb weight! TTYL

    Petitechick: And that is the strength of a blackwoman. Because all we have been through we can just say...hey, this is not for me and just move forward from there and look up. One thing I have learned is this. The best way to know if they want you or just to see what it is like to get in bed with a black woman is to just simply refuse to engage in casual relationships. Even still I think any woman oler than 24 knows there are still not promises. Even when we are cautious. it is all a part of the game no matter if it is a black man or a white man. We have to be able to see that it is not working and just move on. I broke up with my last boyfriend (who was black) and I still have a hard time not looking back. After you have vested interest in someone it is just difficult. I just know that it is time to leave him alone and move on to something else. So, I totally agree. That is the freedom of being a mature woman. I think that is also our beauty and what makes us attractive to men who appreciate us for our age and not pick on us and try to make us feel bad because of our age. I tell you, my hips are much sexier now than they were when I was 23. I be working it girl.....People be mad. But that is okay because I know who I am.

I thought most conservatives quite frankly aren’t into anything open minded especially dating outside their race but they prove me wrong. Still don’t know about dating one though. lol I love Sandra Bullock too and she is another one whom I said married BELOW herself. She deserves better. I think what Whoopi Goldberg said is true that JJ was trying to get out of that pattern of dating certain types of women when he got together with Sandra. But she needs to probably do like Julia Roberts did and marry someone who isn’t in the industry and live a happy life.

    Girl, make sure he got that divorce FIRST. I tell you what though, many a woman would take him divorced or not. Now see, I have a problem with that right there. I can't tell you the number of men on here (Black and White) who have on their profile (separated) and want to holler. I even created a written portion of my profile to address this.     Bamba, when we were talking bout Dancing with the stars did Maxwell make an appearance? My daughter told me last week he was gonna be on there and I was supposed to watch just for that.     Everybody knows sellout black women will 'settle less" faster for a "homely" white man than white women will do.     Not having read all the history here, seems Happy_Girl hit on a theme that you'd also see with the Asian girls. If you've ever been to Asia you see a lot of old fat white guys with these young girls, but I don't think most of the black girls here are going to go for it, they have too many options, and I don't think they could take the heat from their girl friends. But there are some girls that will certainly keep an older guy as a sugar daddy, and both are fully aware and accepting of their relationship. Frankly, I just don't find white girls as attractive anymore, don't know why, just don't.

    MLQ, I just watched that video earlier this morning. Even Steve Harvey said some real stuff... finally. I wish I could have been in attendance, but Hill Harper handled Sherry nicely. Sherry spoke about wanting a black man with potential and Sir Harper brought up the time he worked at Taco Bell and Sherry didn't give him the time of day. So much for wanting a man with potential. Then she wanted to talk about since they both became successful, "What's up now?" She had her chance and blew it. She was hoping he wouldn't bring that story up, but he did anyway. I especially liked when Steve mentioned that some women don't recogized the difference between intimidation and shame. I though it was a pretty good discussion. I want to watch a version witout the network commentary. "So based on this evidentiary support you are/were on this site hoping to find companionship from a white man? Since this is an interracial site." Interracial dating doesn't always mean dating a white man. I recall Petite saying that she has black, latino, and I think mixed on her profile. Again, I'm not in that debate.

No one is twisting your words. You are disgruntled about the experiences that you have had. I am sure that there are white men that have been dissappointed about being rejected from us. I have rejected some of the white men on this site because the picture didn't add up to the real thing. That didn't mean that the man was bad, just not my type when we met in person. Some of them were dissappointed that I did not want to immediately jump the broom with them. I am not going to just be in a relationship just because he is white or black. For me there has to be chemestry. He doesn't have to be cute (as they say) there just has to be some chemestry going on for me to feel like I want to go farther than phone calls and friendship. No chemestry no relationship. So I can't hold it against the white men who don't choose me. Internet dating is harder because of all the Avenues that have to be crossed to find out if there is real chemestry or just digital chemestry. I don't expect miracles on here. I am having fun and I have enjoyed some of the relationships that I have established through this site. I am still in the dating stage right now and I am not letting anyone push me to rush. But Petitechick, I respect that you are trying to keep it real and report your experience. I didn't realize that until one of your earlier comments. I am somewhat new to all of this. I am learning more as I go along. We sisters do have to stick together but we also have to respect each others choices.
