Ever wondered why some white guys, love black women so much?

It seems that being a white male and proclaiming your attraction to black women (not only sexually, but also romantically) may lead to a lot of controversial and dangerous things. Let’s leave the debate of why more black women may be opening themselves up to white guys. The main focus of this debate is: why some white guys are opening themselves to black women. Let’s concentrate on that.

Most white males don’t feel like they are running short of white women to marry. White males just marry at high rates. So question is: Why black women? The thing is it will not be fair to bundle up black women as one since everyone is their own person… be it in appearance or personality.

However, one thing that a white male friend of mine said… and I let him get away with bundling it all up is: “We love a black woman's confidence, her tenacity and her undeniable achievements in the face of great adversity...᾿ Since this info was coming from a man, there was definitely the mention of the lips, the curves, and that wonderful skin as well.

So what about stereotypes like “black women are either sexually conservative or total sluts?" Many people give so much lip service to interracial dating sites. You would think they have never done it. But those uptight individuals are the ones that spread these stereotypes. What happened to the highly educated black woman? How about the caring, decent and involved black woman?

Probably most white guys and others are confused with the stereotypical trash people spread around and if you are one that falls for such lame ol’ lines, then you sure as hell haven’t dated a black woman.

Bottom line, you don't have to sacrifice who you are for a white guy. They will love you anyway. Just be you and open yourself up… and if you like white guys, some white guy will find you too.

    I get where Brown is coming from too. I don't go to other boards discussing black men and white woman because quite frankly, I don't care. So, why should you care if a black woman is with a white man especially if its HER choice to be with him? You said in the past you don't care and it's not about that then unless someone is calling you out personally, then it shouldn't matter right?

If I as a black woman can say yes we have some messed up sistas in the group, then why can't some brothas say the same? Why is it always an us vs. them menality on this blog?

I've seen excuses but not explanations. And as far as black men not being honorable mention, I think a lot of that has to do with Queenie's foolishness and his representation of ya'll. I am divorced first of all idiot...I have one child that I learned the father was a crack addict and he was eleven years older than me when I was a teenager. I was fortunate enough not to marry him when he asked. However, he struggled to get over his addiction and we remain friends and he tried to be a father when he could pull himself together and our daughter is graduating from college in May. I am adopted because my biological mother was only 14 and her parents helped her to give me away for adoption. If black men would stop praying on young vulnerable girls, maybe we wouldn't have so many Tamekas in the world for you to put down and mistreat as though you were better when you are not.

The only reason I would do a book is because I am sick and tired of these "washed up" black women on television "begging for a white man".     Brother, nobody disputes those statistics. I certainly haven't. What I'm tired of hearing from both sides is why one is better than the other. With preconceived notions that if their own kind don't want them - then the "other" kind does. I'm not off bases of anything. My point is, and will always be, that White men don't want Black women in the way that some of us think. I've not responded one way or another about this issue in terms of Black men and White women. Someone else pointed out those stats. I'm talking to the sistahs. Please go back and read some of my earlier posts on the subject. I have said next to nothing about Black Men/White Women, my concern is with my sistah friends. Thanx.

    Petitechick I apologize for not addressing you properly. As far as the history mistake, I stood corrected. I actually admire your style as a black woman. However, just because you don't have enough cofidene to think you can get a whiteman's attention doesn't mean that other black women should be afraid. You are trying to make the sex issue deeper than it really is. Why did it take you all this time to construct a rebuttal regarding my comment. You are angry because you know that I am right. If you are so proud of being black, then why you wearing that huge wig and all that make up? Don't worry when you come back two days later with a rebuttal to this I have my response right off the cuff. I just got back home when I read your put downs. I have been taking crap from people like you since grade school and I am still a survivor. My military training helps me to endure hardness like a good soldier so bring it. Menelik what happened in the past is in the past. If it weren't, you would still be a slave. The laws were made by men who were decendants of the British and who were also wealthy and powerful. Most white people during the slavery era were not wealthy or successful enough to be masters and thus did not own a slave to rape. In addition, most of the other white people who populated America during the industrialization era were Irish or other immigrants from Europe who didn't speak a lick of english and were running from British rule because of how badly they were being treated. They weren't even here to establish laws or precedents and they never owned a slave because they themselves had been in the status of a peasant hoping to do better over here in the US. So if you are trying to make me feel guilty, give it up. I can't hate a whole race of men because of a few rapists that happened to be the same color as them. There are rapists among every race. As far as the lynching goes, that is in the past again. I am not going to fight that battle with you. You said it your self there were some black men who were lynched for "eye-balling" white women. So now you are mad at black women for being attracted to white men during an age when it is acceptable. Anyone can go to blockbuster and rent "Mississippi Burning", "Roots", or "Mandingo" video to watch and reminisce. That is about all you know about history anyway is what you saw in a movie. You don't know the details, you weren't there and I wasn't there. It is just another one of your distractions off the main subject which bothers you the most "Why White Men Love Black Women".

    I read these posts with interest, yet they offen make me feel a little depressed. You see, I am and "average white guy". I have been told that I am decent looking and at 6"1", 190 pounds, I am in pretty good shape. All my life, from childhood to the present (I just turned 50), I have been attracked to black ladies. Perhaps it goes back to when in grammar school my best friend was a black boy and his younger sister was madly in love with me. As I got older, it was difficult to meet black ladies primarily because they felt uncomfortable in an interracial relationship. Eventually I married a while lady, but for whatever reasons we decided to go our separate ways. So now, I have been seeking to have a meaningful, loving, permanant relationship with a wonderful black lady. However, here in Rhode Island, the interracial issue continues to exist. I have tried websites such as "Interracial Dating", "Black People Meet", etc. all to no avail. The few ladies that are willing to date a white man apparently feel that I am too old for them. Yes, I am 50, but look like in an in my early 30s or younger. I know that I still feel like a man in his 20s and 30s. I don't smoke, never did drugs, drink only on special occasions, e.g. dates (which I haven't had in a long time). I never had the joy of having children as my former wife was not at all interested in having any. I am a professional in the technology field and I just earned my PhD in business. All of this I mention to ladies on the above sites, yet get no response. So why am I say this? Just to let the ladies here know that I appreciate a black lady and trust me, they are more honest, caring, and genuine than most white ladies. Take care!

    Okay, the topic of this forum is Why White Men Love Black Women. But most of the comments on here is about other things like....how we should dress and why black men think that we are not good enough for black men or white men and last but not least a history lesson. White men can love and there are those who do love and marry them. I am going to ignore the idiots who want to keep up non-productive comments that are so completely off the subject. White men have always loved black women. It is just that the former laws of slavery kept them from marrying us because it would entitle us to the status that we were denied. The loved us because we were strong and beautiful like Ms. Petitechick and the other beautifu black women on this site. They could not resist the dark brown skin. They simply could not get us out of their minds. Today, there are no laws preventing whitemen from having romantic involvement with us. But this IR dating is not for everyone for the reasons that exist even on this site: Some of the people who don't like it will speak out against it because they didn't get any home training that taught them to simply mind their own business and do their own thing.

Two of those four kids are fully grown women, have their own cars and are in college. I don’t live in the ghetto though because I own my house which I bought with my own hard earned money.
