Why white men love the black woman

Posted by James, 31 Aug

Ever wondered why some white guys, love black women so much?

It seems that being a white male and proclaiming your attraction to black women (not only sexually, but also romantically) may lead to a lot of controversial and dangerous things. Let’s leave the debate of why more black women may be opening themselves up to white guys. The main focus of this debate is: why some white guys are opening themselves to black women. Let’s concentrate on that.

Find your soulmate on LatinoLicious

Most white males don’t feel like they are running short of white women to marry. White males just marry at high rates. So question is: Why black women? The thing is it will not be fair to bundle up black women as one since everyone is their own person… be it in appearance or personality.

However, one thing that a white male friend of mine said… and I let him get away with bundling it all up is: “We love a black woman's confidence, her tenacity and her undeniable achievements in the face of great adversity...᾿ Since this info was coming from a man, there was definitely the mention of the lips, the curves, and that wonderful skin as well.

So what about stereotypes like “black women are either sexually conservative or total sluts?" Many people give so much lip service to interracial dating sites. You would think they have never done it. But those uptight individuals are the ones that spread these stereotypes. What happened to the highly educated black woman? How about the caring, decent and involved black woman?

Probably most white guys and others are confused with the stereotypical trash people spread around and if you are one that falls for such lame ol’ lines, then you sure as hell haven’t dated a black woman.

Bottom line, you don't have to sacrifice who you are for a white guy. They will love you anyway. Just be you and open yourself up… and if you like white guys, some white guy will find you too.

Robbs, you may want to come to the NYC Tri-State area. You will find so many Black women who are open to so many different religions and ideologies. I also had the same problem as you, in that I am an Agnostic bordering on Athiesm, but I've noticed a growing number of logical-minded Black women, mostly in their early twenties in this area, especially NYC proper. It's not only in the realm of religion and philosophy that I find so many wonderful opinions and tastes, but it's also in sub-culture. There are so many Black women that are into Anime, Alternative music, Comic books, Heavy Metal, Indie movies, etc.

Robbs, I think you should consider not dating black women if you find their religious faith not acceptable. It appears you want to date a “black woman” to prove some kind of point or because you think, a “black woman” has certain qualities that white women don’t. You’re not doing yourself or anyone else a favor if you some kind of stereotype of what a black woman is. I’m worried that even if you find you’re atheist black woman, she won’t live up to expectation because she won’t be the stereotype of your fantasies.

Robs...I think this may be due to the fact that so many of us believe that only by the grace of God have we been able to stay strong and get through some of the trials and tribulations that we have gone through. Our faith has given us the courage and strength to maintain our sanity, health, strength and independence.

I'm a white boy from baltimore that loves dating black women, and will hopefully marry one someday. My problem isn't all the negative stuff already discussed here, I think I've managed to get by that. However, my biggest problem is that I'm atheist. Most black women seem to be Christian, and not only that, but have a problem with me being atheist. Why is it such a big deal!?

In the UK because of things like feminism and political correctness (i.e. following the party line). etc., our white women and girls reject, humiliate, and redicule white men and youths. By contrast to these filthy white female beasts black women and girls are kind, loving, and considerate. Who would bother with British female white trash when there are these nice black women and girls.

Bright-eyed.... With all due respect and compassion I understand where you are coming from, but I think it is beyond wrong to question why a black woman might want/love a Black man....that type of thinking borders on ridiculous. The fact is people today are extremely irreponsible....PERIOD. Everyone is looking for the next "disorder" to account for their "bad behavior". No ONE (so-called) RACE has cornered the market on this nonsense. One reason you might see more "brothas in orange" is that most people of color and/or those on the lower end of socio-economic strata tend to get caught up in "the system" simply because their are fewer options. OF COURSE, I am not making any excuses....just trying to give you another outlook. There are deadbeats of all colors, creeds, genders, etc. We are certainly overdue for a reckoning......time will for ALL to be held accountable for the actions......AND SPEECH that we perpetuate. We really must begin to take care of ourselves as well as each other. Peace and Blessings tatted2death

Indeed, I encounter a lot of blatant racism from whites where I work. But when my child's and my apartment was broken into 6 yrs ago, it was by my "brothas." When I was raped in '98 by someone I considered a friend, it was by a "brotha." So, I really cannot afford to be a racist against other cultures. Like the old saying goes, "We have seen the Enemy, and he is Us." Brothas kick around the word love like it's a football. I call on Christ, and watch them scatter.... Even the ones in the Church on BS. I have no business reminding them "Be Holy, for God is Holy." * smh * (You're the man - you're supposed to lead.) Just tired, is all....

As a strong DBW / single parent, I'm touched by the sincere stories of true love found via interracial dating. I'm always turned off by the self-hate of "brothas" who dislike us for our strength, and accuse us of having attitude when we don't put up with their crap. I'm 38, and have been divorced since 10/02, and have been waiting on God to send my next Real husband. Someone who is all out of games and foolishness. Someone who is their own person, and doesn't listen to Mommy or Daddy. Someone who wants to love and be loved. Someone selfless, God-loving / -fearing; stable mentally, financially; loyal, and has a a sense of family. Pretty simple, but has proven to be such a talllll order.... Based on my experience AND inner-circle in my work life & private life here in Chicago: Black men just aren't capable of taking care of business @ home. (My dad took care of his mistresses & their kids better than he took care of myself & my 4 siblings. My ex-husband is taking better care of his current wife's kids better than the 13-year-old we have together.) I work with & know God knows how many single Black women with children. And HOW many MARRIED white women with children. Get on any bus here, and you'll see countless BW taking their kids to school. Where are the brothas making all these kids??? Black men sure do like to fool around, but not commit. Hell, even Obama chastised them around Father's Day for not taking care of home. How sad?! It's a sad day when the President of the US puts a whole race of sorry males on blast like that! Come to Domestic / Child Division Court in Chicago on any given day to see predominantly Black dead-beat dads in the Cook County orange jump suits giving this excuse or that as to why they haven't paid child support -- telling judge after judge how they have new wives / kids to support.... * smh * Why any self-loving / self-respecting BW would want a Black man is beyond me.

I live in a suburb of DC and, honestly, I am incredibly attracted to 95% of the black women I see on a daily basis. But, then, I have found that so are most of my black brothers! I guess the black woman just evokes stronger emotions in the males that are drawn to them.

I know exactly what it is in mixed company or circle's of people, especially in small town's? they want everyting thier own way and they are totally selfish or selfcentered to other's or ones that arnt white or the stupid clickish garbage and If they see someone that isnt white with a white person they inadvertantly judge them wayyy too quick, just like a bunch or hippocrites, this totally stinks and i cant stand alot of caucasian people for this as they are bullheaded and blind, and dont give others a chance for anything,

I'd just like to say something on-topic, not that I don't like bs-ing with the best of them. As a white man, I love black women because of their headstrong personalities. Sure there is an undeniable draw like a magnet to their mocha skin and sexy-as-hell bodies. But, overall, it is the feisty, headstrong Will of the black woman that makes her irresistible.

The last two are once-in-a-lifetime new territory for myself. Looking from the neck up more these days. I still tune in from time to time to hear what is going on in here. Getting a handle on work/career stuff. Nothing special going on.

Its a time to stop and Thank our Maker for all the good he has blessed us with, family friends and all those special people in our lives. Often we wonder why we are where at in our various stages of life, then we know it has a purpose. Yes I know some unknown force compelled me to tell mine and Scoff's story. For all the good and bad feelings it created, I have not regrets on what I did, and laugh today thinking about Oh my Gosh I kissed a white boy, what will people say. LOLOL True when I see a bi-racial child I think what if????????. Still I two lovely daughters that have blessed me with several precious grand daughters. So I put those thoughts aside as I bask in the all the love around me. Please take a moment and Thank God for you Blessings Love Sarah

Good morning to all; Oh the Holidays are here time to get busy, so much to do with family and friends. As soon as I/we get time I will tell you about our road trip, yes we acted like two twenty year olds. I loved every minute of it, we really talked alot about the past, laughed and cried. We still have alot of regrets about not following our hearts, but we put all that asided. I will say that southern white men are far more sensative to black woman than men from up north. Why? I'm not sure about that maybe one of my friends can help explain that. I thank God every day that I happened, stop on that dirt road that day, but thats another story for another day. I will say, when he got our to his car, I thought my that is good looking man, lolol (for a white man) lolo, when he walked up to my car, I thought I know this man. My daughter ( she was driving) when it was all said and done, commented Mom that man was looking at you. Playing dum I replied what do you mean looking at me. You know what I mean, and you was checking him out, adding she continued old friend, I think your keeping something from me. Which I left that all for her to wonder, as I quickly changed the subject. Just to say hello and give all my love to all my very special friends. Godiva, Simpley Spice Big eyes Tatted Tricci SeWilde so early in the morning so please excuse my poor writing today Oh least I forget Mr. Queens God Bless All Sarah

James, I'd like to invite you to appear as a guest on an internet radio talk show which will address the subject of Black Women Dating White Men. The show is on 11/21/09 at 6 pm (PST) on http://www.BlogTalkRadio.com/askheartbeat. We have a psychologist and author of a book on this subject coming on the show, but I'd love to have a guy that dates Black women on the show to discuss his experiences with Whites and Black men that may disagree with his relationship choices.

Dear Justin, In a ideal U.S.A race would not matter, but since this is reality, race is still a determining factor in every facet of American Life. If race was not a issue then we would not have to be identifed by race for the census, nor would we be involved in forums like this if that was the case. Yes a lot of us are not just confined to liking one race, but like Ms. Tat says there are some hurdles and this is one of those places to where there are less of them. Now looking at your post you are on here for a reason as well, what is your reason?

hey, justin.....maybe people are on this site for a variety of reason. But for those that are seeking relationships, maybe this forum/site offers a place where they won't feel so put off by being open to other races. Some lines are hard to cross for some people. This site (and others like it), at times, can offer solace from some of the uptight, BS you can come across elsewhere....PLAIN AND SIMPLE. Peace and Blessings tatted2death

Hey SE, Hope your studies are going well. Thanks for the shout out about my poems. I like you, enjoyed all the work presented and thought the night quite different from any other. I was pretty busy that day and got mine in barely before sunrise. Sharing something so positive and stylishly individual revealed a bit about each of us, even those who simply read and shared feedback. Thanks all. Dee, I had noooooooooooo idea it was your birthday! Happy belated, girl! I hope you had a memorable and enjoyable to make it that much more special. Thanks for holding up the arches for all of us to pass last Poetry Night. I know most thought it my idea, but in truth it was yours (you and Az were posting and I wanted to join with my verses in loop in recollection). Any success contemplated by its doing belongs strictly to you, but thank you sweetly for sharing the idea of its conception with me. I take my bow - curtains please...

Good morning all, This is a late post, but I wanted to let everyone know how much I enjoyed 'poetry night.' Unique - Happy belated, by the way. Thank you for your comments regarding what I wrote. As it is a fictional account of IR love, that particular situation did not happen to me, but the 'personal' kernel of truth in being in love in an interracial relationship, is that 'color/race related' issues always arise, simply from being yourself, and being in love. Why can't love just be love? What is the color of love? Your poem, "To Be or Not to Be," made me smile. You're right, God didn't make no junk. SimplySpicy - thank you, soon to be released in mid-December. Tricci - I hope the male narrative is just as compelling. I liked your, "Black I Be" and "Cookin," is real cute. "Butterflies Over Lillied Pond," sweet. Az - I always enjoyed your work, and would hope to see it published. Out of, "My Deepest Sorrow," "To a Breathless Cause," and "Whispers in the Forest," I like "Sorrow," best. Your work reminds me of Edgar Allen Poe, all the angst, all the mental torment. Scoff - your contribution of the "Soldiers Last Journey," is very heart felt. Maybe poetry night didn't turn out so bad after all. To everyone mentioned, and to everyone not mentioned, I wish all of you much peace, respect, and above all, mad, crazy, love. Have a fantastic day! SE

:-) Godiva I have to say that what you said really touched me, it is such a good thing to see someone not just help prisoners but minister to their hearts and souls. Like you said everyone deserves a second chance and they should not be held in contempt for a mistake they have already paid a hefty price for.. Much Kudos to you :-) I wish that more people were unselfish in helping others out.<<thinks God is smiling down upon you right now :-) Mr Queens, lol I believe that if you are going to do something, do it all the way. I aim for the sky, not the middle, or even the bottom. :-) Thanks for giving me the encouragement. I do not have any kids and I am not married, so hey why not take this time and use it to go toward something useful. I commend you for being involved in the community as well. I have ran into countless kids who need that male figure in their life. It is so disheartening to see so many kids without that love and guidance that they so deserve. I know it can be difficult for you and Godiva both because hurting people hurt other people because thats all they know is hurt. If more of us would give love without asking for anything in return, this world would be a better place. lol, let me know how that conversation goes with you and the Mormons I am very interested in that. I think that it is great that you can listen to other people of different faiths and give your own insight..:-) I find it even more amazing that you would bring up the question about them and interracial dating. So kudos to you too sweetie :-) Ms. Tat lol, girl you are a trip...Your arrival and departure is always with a bang,, how can I be like that lol (j/k).... I agree with you that is great to see us as women get along. It is sad that so many women are not as open or as willing to open up their hearts, minds, and feelings to others outside of their circle. I think that a lot of that comes from not being secure in oneself. So all you can do is just pray for them and continue to do you... Sara you and Scoff cease to amaze me, that is wonderful that you are helping senior citizens, they are another forgotten group of people that need love, and just as much help. Last but not least Bigeyes you are quite a wonderful woman. I am proud of talking to someone who is as open, intelligent and beautiful as you are. You have a beautiful spirit and I wish you the best in all of your endeavors. Well I gtg, tonight I am working the graveyard shift:-) Luv n peace to all;-)

I just wanted to say thank you to Mr. L Queens for his openess and good advice. SimplySpicy you are a beautiful person and so encouraging and I certainly appreciated the kind words and you are right about the medical field. With all the political bull that goes on, where is the focus on the clients? Nevertheless, you are inspiring. Thanks again. Mr. Queens, I have always believed in God created destinies and I don't want to spend the rest of my life having not attempted at what I was meant for. If it doesn't work out then I can grow old knowing I gave it a shot, lol. I do look for challenges but I think it's God trying to tell me he has more for me and not to settle. Thanks for all the great insight and advice as well as compliments. Ms. godiva, you know you are priceless and a doll. You NEVER fail to impart encouragement, kindness, caring and a firm tongue lashing, lol, whenever necessary. Thank you. Peace to all

Mr. Queens, It is hard work but it's worthwhile in the end! We can't have a better world if we are not willing to sacrifice our time and our heart's to make the difference in someone else's life. Most of the guys, and lately more women that I have encountered in prison, are good people, who have had no hope, no positive role models, and very liitle love in their lives, this does not mean that we should discard them! That's why I had a little problem with the Michael Vick thing. I'm not saying that he shouldn't have been reinstated to the NFL and been giving a second chance, but why not the average Joe as well. They come out of prison, try to get a job, but still are denied work, and almost never given a chance to redeem themselves! Anyway I could go on for hours about this. Let me know how that conversation turns out with the Utah boys.. Is it not only black women they keep out?? Sarah, thank you so much for the BIG HUG! I really need a lot of hugs today, it's been a rough two weeks! This week has been real hard, my other passion, the Military. It's been a rough week in Afghanistan and I dread the possible phone calls in the middle of the night! Now there's a warm Vanilla Bubble Bath waiting for me and a entire day off! love godiva

Dear Mrs Godiva I have tremendous respect for you. Helping prisoner families is hard work. I work with troubled kids so I know first hand how hard that is. You have always been far and above the circus here. LOL I guess working with the less fortunate in the community has made me less selfish. Read your stories has opened my eyes. Some Mormon white boys came to my house and we engaged in a religious conversation. Normally I wouldn't have done that. I am a Seventh Day Adventist but we had a good discussion with these Utah boys and their Joseph Gospel. They plan to come tomorrow. I will grill them about Polygamy and why they won't have black women in their polygamist marriages. Good day LOL

Top of the morning to everyone, First and foremost, I would like to wish uniquelydeey a very Happy Birthday today, Happy Birthday!!! May you be blessed with many years to come! SimplySpicy, thanks for the compliment and the birthday wish, it's not until the 10th but thank you just the same.. Also go for your dreams, it's better to try than to go through life wondering, "what if" for the rest of your life. Natalie, I love you, and the same advice applies to you as well, GO FOR IT!! Az, I hope that you had a nice birthday and is feeling better, sick or hangover?(lol) Tatt, you are a peach! Scoff, I really enjoyed your tribute to your fallen comrades, made me think of my Dad, I still miss him! Sarah, just know that even when I'm not here, you are in my thoughts. I have been very busy with my prison ministry, it can be time consuming. My biggest obstacle is trying to convince people to not look down on someone who is imprisioned. We have all made mistakes in life, but I don't believe for one moment that society should make you pay for your mistake for the rest of your life! So right now I'm jumping through hoops, side stepping a few land mines in order to help the families of prisioners to have a good Thanksgiving, and Christmas, it means so much to them. I even managed to get one of those cheap doctors at work to write me a nice check, the least he could do. Thanksgiving is done and I'm almost done with Christmas. Last but not least, Mr. Queens, I told you once before that you are stubborn, and play that hard core role, but you don't fool me because I know you are a big fluffy teddy bear(lol). So here's a big hug for you today! You like hugs, don't you? I sure do, so send me one back!! You still love me right? (lol) love godiva

Good Morning to all: I throughly enjoyed all the post from yesterday, just wonderful sharing thoughts, poetry, & Mr. Queens, I always knew you could be a kind, sharing young man. Ms. TricciNicci; Many thanks, you have brought out the best in all of us, your idea of a poetry day was a wild success. Bless you, I found it hard to believe that you got ol Grumpy Scoff to share a little, lolo. He's not really grumpy, just a very private person, as myself. I will say this blog has helped me come out some, I have really enjoyed sharing a part of my life that I have always kept secluded, from my family and friends. Ms. Godiva, I hope all is well, I miss you so please find time to give us a hello. Thanks to all of you we are slowly coming out, and guess what it seems like no one even notices, lolo. I still like Scoff's answer about why white men love black women, please believe me at our age, as Scoff says a relationship must have depth. Time to get busy, I thought when I retired I would have plenty of time, not so but I love it, I do alot of work with the Seniors in the area. When I get the whole story straight, as it's being told to me my a 85 year old woman (black) concerning the relationship of a German POW and a black woman. Got to kind of sort through this one, not sure how valid it is. Scoff is doing the research for me on the location of the POW Camp, ect. and if it would even be possible. Just Love all of you so much; Bye for now Sarah

I just wanted to thank SimplySpicy and Uniquelydeey and Sarah for the love.....It's nice to know people actually read what I type (even at odd hours of the night with red, burning eyes...LOL)....alot of times I seriously just write for my own amusement. I think you all might give me too much credit though....(more insight, Simply???.....lol....If I don't know something, I'll be the first to say "I know nada"...LOL.) but I do appreciate the fact that the women here ALWAYS manage to show each other admiration and respect. Despite stereotypes and other such ridiculous perceptions we seem to have each others' backs here.....and I LOVE THAT. ...And I must say I NEVER doubted L.Queens' intelligence or capacity for compassion. Hey, tornados have their purposes (I suppose....LOL) and I already shared that "Daffy Duck" was one of my fave Looney Tunes characters...LOL!! Peace and Blessings tatted2death

Dear Simply If you can get in Columbia Law School. Take it! I am just saying do not settle for less. It sort of like jumping from high school to the NBA. I mean, if you got the talent then go right away. But just don't go to a 2 tier Law School. I had a friend that went to Columbia. They are big on diversity scholarships and various programs on campus to ease the financial burden. In your case, shoot for Columbia and study the LSAT. If you are an excellent Undegrad student. I think you could do very well in Law School. Most people go to Law school in their 30s. They have kids, a family and a full time job. I don't know your situation. Looks like you can go right away to Columbia. I was thinking you was contemplating a low tier Law School.

:-)L Queens I can not thank you enough for that helpful information. I did not take into consideration all of those factors you presented, that has given me a lot of food for thought. My intentions were to go to law school immediately after graduating undergrad, but since reading your input I think I will hold off on it and pratice the lsat for a couple of years. I actually had planned to apply to Columbia University which is one of the top tier schools. I can concour with you on the whole third tier school thing, because you can not network well with people with no clout nor can you be hired by a prestigious law firm. So yes I am going to do the dam thing the right way instead of half stepping it.. I was thinking about working with Spanish speaking people through educational means or through community outreach organizations. So again you were right on the money,I appreciate your insight and I will definitely be using it. Bigeyes thank you ma for letting it be known your law school aspirations. I think that is great and it is even more phenomenal that you have your undergrad in respiratory therapy. That is amazing within itself and it is great that you have other aspirations. I have a certification in phlebotomy lol @mr queens shaking his head right now, so It's nothing for me to be around blood. I worked at a doctors office as a phlebotomist but ended up leaving for a better schedule and pay at the hospital e.r. The ironic thing is I did not get the job being a vampire but being the paper pusher lol(pt reg clerk). Anyways all I can say is that anything you do give your all to it. The medical field is just as political as the courtroom. I personally want to leave it because at least in the courtroom you know the politics and you can combat it, in the medical setting it is ongoing politics that you can not begin to comprehend, let alone end. So bigeyes I think that it is great that you have the ball rolling, keep your head up, and know that you are never "too old" to try something new. God gave us this life to live it so live it sweetie to the fullest! Ms. Tricc I thank you again for your kind words,:-) I loved your poems and I am glad that I am not the only person who watched "Queen" lol. I own the movie and love the fact that Alex Haley was able to show both sides of his family. I think genetics is interesting and it was even more amazing to see a "black" man show the world that we have history and that not all of us is ignorant people with no past. As you can see Alex Haley is one of my favorite authors so I'm not going to talk your ear off about how much I love his writings. S&S you never cease to amaze me, I love the poem it sound like something I've heard from my family members. I love you two, now I am waiting to hear more about you two :-) AZ your poetry was right on point just as you are and I think that it was quite profound. I really think that you should have your work copyrighted and put into a book. Mr Queens I can not thank you enough for the information and I am proud that you have accomplished so much at the tender age of "31". Your work life is a example to many young men, so keep up the good work:-) Well I am off luv ya all ;-)

Good Morning All, Ms. Sarah I appreciated your effort. My father served in the military, not on the front lines and Patriotism is something that I truly learned to respect. There's no greater patriot than those men and women who serve on our front lines. Especially those who have given their very lives. Thank you for sharing that as we have those who fight even now. Though I don't agree with a lot of the causes, it's sharing like yours that make us remember the truest value are the lives given for our freedoms to remain at whatever the cost to be. Az, I loved your poems! Definitely deep, thought provoking and somber. Truly made me reach a level or two deeper. These are no flimsy salutation you expound upon. Can't wait for more. My fave thus far? "Whispers in the Forest". I live in a desert these days, but Nevada has some powerful winds. If only it had some trees, lol!

Dear Bigeyes If Law is what you want to do, do not be discouraged. I know a lot of black women that are in Law school or are Lawyers. I just think some of have a tendency to jump on any opportunity they are given (ie the low tier law schools). They will say "oh you just need to pass the Bar exam, the name of the Law school does not matter. That is half true actually. If you don't believe me. Go to Careerbuilder and look at what employers ask for concerning job opportunities for lawyers. They want to know your GPA, the name of the Law school and etc. They want the cream of the crop basically if you have no experience. Bigeyes you have a real good degree. Those LSAT practice courses can be expensive. If your University offers them at a reasonable price it is good take them. I took the practice LSAT. The logic was hard. I didn't do that "bad" on it. But it wasn't enough to get me into a real good Law school. Respiratory Therapist is nice. The Medical field is always stable. You could take the MCAT and be a respiratory doctor. Right now there is a lot of people in Law School. The country needs more Phds, Doctors, teachers, and Engineers. The medical field is interesting but I hate blood. Law school would take so long to complete and I am 31 years old. Plus, there is a recession going on. A friend of mine said "it is the best time to get higher education due to the recession". I tend to believe maybe working more hours or another job is the best thing to do during a recession. I am sort of glad I didn't go to Law school because I would have been in tremendous debt. Most of the women I know said they would "have though twice about Law school". It is all about connections. Bigeyes I think you want a challenge. I feel the same way you do. Once a job gets boring to me. I look for challenges too. If you do Law, you can do Healthcare Law. Major money in that.

@SimplySpicey Wow, I'm glad you shared your law school ambitions. I am also considering law. I have been circling around the LSAT,researching registering requirements and what not, lol. I haven't quite landed on it yet, lol, but I'm preparing.I don't readily share my plans about law school because of my age. I have always felt as if law was my calling but wasn't sure I had what it took to make it, but you inspire me. If you don't mind, please share any information you come across, no matter how small. Please post anything you might think helpful such as studying tips and advice. Mr. L. Queens Thanks for sharing that information,it was quite insightful, truly. I'm considering taking a LSAT prep course offered by the university from which I earned my B.S. in business administration. My "real world" degree is an associates in respiratory therapy(we place people on ventilators when they stop breathing on their own,lol don't worry no one knows what we do either)but I don't know if that schedule will work with law school. Resp. therapist usually work twelve-hour shifts but have 3-4 days off, not set days though. Mr. Queens, Simply Spicey, do you think it would work? LOL. You are right about the logic courses;the LSAT is all about logic, lol. Mr. L Queens I usually enjoy your posts but this one was a pearl. I knew you were good for more than either making us mad or making us laug(I'm usually laughing,LOL) Take care guys and ghouls(that's for Halloween)

Okay I'll try a little, please I know I'm no match for some of you. I said I'll try, not really, this short poem was written by a Crow (native American) I served with in Viet Nam. Soldiers Last Journey Sleep my soldier at last May the Great Spirit, guide your path Rest Soldier, Your journey has come to past When ever we had a death in our platoon, we would repeat these words as the bodies were flown away. I know it is simple, and not in the correct prose, ect. This soldier put this togeather from his heart, it means a great deal to me. Thank you for letting be share this Love all of you Scoff

Hey all. Sick today so I decided to post three of my poetic compilings. I have yet to gather more which I will do after a while. P.S. Black Queen: No white man is sobbing or even slobbering over you. Just so ya know. Anyway: 'My Deepest Sorrow' (based on inner struggles) Lost in hate I try to see, What has brought my integrity, All my hope I try to flee, What holds me down inside of me. I walk this path what seems to be, A hopeless thought I'm not so free, Give me hope and another chance, Wake me up from this horrible trance. Beneath the ground is where I stand, Praying for a healing hand, All this anger I know I can, My solid foundation has turned to sand. On my knees I pray for hope, This wealthy life has gone for broke, My time in hell I've lost my mind, These missing pieces will come in time. 'My deepest sorrow' am I to blame, Am I the one who deserves the pain, I scream out loud but no one hears, This distant sound as I fall to tears. The paths I choose feel the same, These days pass by as it continues to rain, 'My deepest sorrow' still remains. I cry for help then look up high, To look back down with a sigh, I almost feel I'm out of time, I feel the darkness I hold inside. I feel the tremble I feel so wet, All my body is covered in sweat, These distant years will fade away, Trapped in this prison with nothing to say. All this solitude I'm now awake, I've been forgiven but still feel hate, Caught in this land of misery, I look around with nowhere to flee. No way out is all I see, No answer here to set me free, I breathe the air of eternity, A different ending is what I seek. ............... An evil thought is on my mind, A crooked trail I leave behind, The things I do are all a crime, I piece of mind I have yet to find. Make amends to do the same, Right from wrong I'm put to shame, A better year I have yet to make, It's over now please give me space. I feel the anguish I feel the heat, That burns inside I feel discreet, From my head to my feet, From the heart where I bleed. Done so wrong I lay at night, My body's worn and can no longer fight, I lie within with all my might, A prayer of hope.....this pain....I cry 'To a Breathless Cause' (impurity of myself including character flaws) My sins now weep to a ghostly breath, This pain and sorrow inflicts my death. This world turned to misery and hate, All my fears I cannot escape. Afraid to find the answers I seek, Tired, worn, numb and weak. Tears that form mirror the pain inside, Suffocating into silent cries. Anger forms then turns to sin, Searing thoughts unleashed within. Darkness falls and then descends, Upon my soul, without end. Screams of fears I cannot break, Trapped inside, I see my fate. Shadows of darkness that whispers lies, Gleam of solitude unfound, despised. An epic end and without time, From clemency, I've been denied. Robusting shadows in my dreams, Forms then fades between the screams. A life once felt now without means, Beaten down, I scar and bleed. A solid state crumbles away, Darkness drives the light in vain. A cloud of dust from my remains, A final gasp then breath escapes. The deepest darkest realm on Earth, Inflicts the pain of unending hurt. A selfish mind that I put first, Letting free the lessons learned. Shameful greed I've shunned my way, Withdrawn, I whisk in flames. From these hands I've seen disgrace, I look to blame but view displace. Sending forth with words of hate, Deception written across my face. I fall into the eyes of defeat, The enemy yells and boastfully speaks. Crushed down I feel so weak, Ending sorrow but find deceit. Anger feeds this fire within, Brushing flames to burn my sin. Tearing the lies all light is dim, Evil despised the path to him. With no avail I feel at loss, This nightmare holds 'To a Breathless Cause'. 'Whispers in the Forest' (nature based) Darkness drives the wind of night, An endless forest with endless sight, Trees sway at the constant beat, Of the trembling at the ground beneath. Silence pierces all that's still, With fear in those who seek the light, Howls and cries of the lonesome ones, Remains in place, Remains undone. Fear is few and far in between, The silent ones who remain unseen, The moon eclipses through the dark, To the abyss it has been charred. The forest stirs with mighty wind, Unrest is found from deep within, A final cry cracks the night, The light of dawn is now in sight. The restless ones now lay in peace, The stir of whispers have fled their dreams. Be back with more later on.
